The mission of the DA Legacy Foundation is to provide a supportive community for children and families living with the struggles of their societal economic status. This will be done while also aiding the greater community in efforts to reach a higher economic and intellectual status; in addition to inspiring youth to dream big through education and physical activity.  

 

When the founder, Dallas native and NFL coach David Overstreet, II, started his mission in 2019, the goal was to help those struggling with economic challenges by offering encouragement and advice to children and families under those constraints. With the support of family and a circle of close friends, the foundation’s mission has grown to inspire all youth to grow and achieve big dreams. With signature programs, like a free football camp, and community events, the foundation provides a platform for Overstreet, II to be hands-on and engaged with young people and their families, helping them overcome and accomplish their goals.  The DA Legacy Foundation is built on the fundamental principle of "uplift the next generation of leaders."
